
STAC meeting after school today in Mr. Meyer's room for any students interested in participating in the theater program this year.

It's time once again for the CHANGE CHALLENGE!! We will be collecting change beginning Wednesday, October 5th through the Book Fair! The class that brings in the most change wins a Snow Cone party in the library.

JH boys basketball practice Monday morning at 6:30am - 7:30am in the HS gym.

These track athletes enjoyed their time helping judge at the Miami Track Meet this morning. Big thanks to our neighboring Mustangs for the invitation!


Narwhal and Jelly need some friends! Join our Pumpkin Character Contest. Pumpkins are due by Friday, October 7th. Winners will receive a $10 gift certificate to the Book Fair.


Today is the last day to order this year’s Pink Out shirts. Order from the link on the picture. Select Slater Schools and then Pick Up and Pick Up at School. Shirts will be delivered to the school the week of October 10 and we will get them to you.


We all need to give a huge shout out to Ellis Hemeyer on her Big success today in receiving a Best Choice ribbon out of all the Architecture/Landscape artwork made today! Congratulations Ellis!!!

Here is the hard work from the Art competition at CMU. They had two hours to do artwork from the following areas: still life, model, illustration prompt, architectural/landscape and portrait.

The Lady Cats had two hard fought losses earlier this week verses Tina and Jamestown but bounced back with a big 27-2 victory at Hale-Bosworth tonight!!! 🥎

There will be a meeting for any boy or girl interested in playing JH Basketball in the morning at 7:30am before school in the HS gym.

Apologies for the mix up, the theater meeting will be Thursday after school in Mr. Meyer's room. Any students in 7th-12th grade are welcome.

Students who are in 7th-12th grades interested in participating in the Slater Theater Arts Club, please report to Mr. Meyer's room after school Wednesday for a meeting about this year's theater season.
