Last week was a great week for our Slater choirs. The high school choir went to the CMU Music Festival on Friday and earned a top rating of Exemplary from their festival judge. On Saturday, we had representatives from 5th and 6th grade participate in the WCMMEA 5th and 6th grade honor choirs in Warrensburg at the UCM campus. Great job and congratulations Wildcats!

Reminder: The 5th and 6th grade honor choir students attending tomorrow's event need to be at the school by 6:40 am, we will be leaving at 6:45 am. Family and friends are welcome to attend the concert in the afternoon if you wish. The concert will be held in Hendrick's Hall on the UCM campus, at 3pm, in Warrensburg, MO.

Students in Mrs. Schure's 1st grade class have been reading about some of the US Monuments in Washington, D.C. through a drama-style text. Today they added themselves to the story by writing their own dialogue and illustrating the scene. 🇺🇸
