Wildcat Families -
We're watching this weekend's weather - the brunt of the snow looks like it will arrive Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday. The unpredictability of the snow amount, timing, and ability to clear roads make the situation hard to gauge.
One of our options if we’re unable to be in session includes using an Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) day. Doing so 'counts' as a day in session that we do not have to make up. We have a limited number of these days to use and we make every attempt to prepare staff and students ahead of time.
We have asked teachers to prepare AMI materials for TWO days just in case we’re unable to be in session.
This is a precaution and not a certainty. We will make the determination and announcement as soon as information is known - hopefully by Sunday evening. More information about AMI is in our weekly newsletters. Any announcements about a change to the school calendar - like an AMI day - will be posted on our website, social media, text alerts, and KMMO.com .
