They are having a competition and the winner gets some of their favorite snacks 😃. I choose random judges to choose their top three favorites for first, second and third places. There are a total of six groups. What a fun experience this has been!

Last week, the SHS Ag Science I class hosted guest speaker, Ms. Bonita Butner who spoke about the Dalton Vocational School, one of 4 schools in the state to once have a New Farmers of America Chapter. NFA was established in 1935 for African American youth to promote agricultural leadership and citizenship, merging with FFA in 1965. Ms. Butner's late mother, Ida was a student at the school alongside others in the Slater and Gilliam area.
