Art Class Art 1 and 2
High School Students
Their project was to find an Artists Style and an artist they liked who used that style. They were then to make their own composition about themselves if it were to be on an album cover. They also were to make a small artist statement of why they chose who they did and that style and why they made what they did!

Reminder: Those attending the middle school honor band tomorrow, Saturday December 9th, need to meet at THE BAND ROOM DOOR at 6:45am. The bus will leave at 7am. Don't forget to bring your lunch and snacks! See you in the morning!

They have been working on 3D Snowmen and succeeded. They really did a great job! 👏

Mrs. Clements 4th Graders pictures of their Macy's Day Parade Balloons they did such an amazing job! Lots of details went into their drawings.

Ms Kipping's 4th Graders have been working on Elements of Art Christmas trees! They are doing so well. They are to show one of each Element of Art in each section of the page! Line, Color, Shape, Form, Value, Texture and Space. Not all kids are pictured some are still in progress.
HS Science teacher Ms. Sample gets today's Staff Shout Out from her colleague, Mrs. Heilman. Mrs. Heilman said, "...Ms. Sample has her students engaged in the learning process & taking responsibility in their own learning as well..." Way to go, Ms. Sample!
Due to being short staffed we will not have items in the hot case. However, we will still have smart snacks available for purchase.
Reminder--Don't forget--JH Student Council is sponsoring a fundraiser for the Saline County Holiday Project. Donate $5 and wear your pajamas and hat to school on Friday(tomorrow), December 8(PreK-8 only). Pay Mrs. Tera in the elementary office in the morning.

Please join us for another wonderful night of music tomorrow evening at 6pm. The 5th-8th grade students need to be in Mr. Meyers room at 5:30 to receive their polos for the concert, high school students report at 5:45. If you recently received a letter from Dr. Lorenz in regards to your student(s) uncompleted enrollment/registration, please contact the appropriate office to complete your paperwork this week. Dr. Lorenz will be scheduling home visits starting the week of December 11.
Reminder: Join us tonight for our K-4th grade music program. We will perform "An All-American Christmas" singing and talking about American heritage and traditions. The program begins at 6pm, and if you have kiddos performing, please have them report to the back of the auditorium stage at 5:45pm.
