Congratulations to the JH Scholar Bowl team on a successful season. The season ended today with the Conference Meet. Slater won 4 of their 6 matches at the meet. Congratulations to Cade for being the 3rd place high scoring individual.
Join the Slater Theater Arts Club for a very comical performance next Saturday evening at 6pm in the auditorium. We will be performing a one-act play called The Proposal and several stand-alone comedy scenes. This will be a free will donation performance. Come out and support these fine students and have and evening of laughter.

These students have worked so very hard on their Polar Bear Weaving projects! I love how they all turned out and are as unique as who made them! Please make sure you tell the kids how proud you are of them! They learned so many different things throughout this whole project! 🙌 🤩

I am SO proud of the 5th and 6th grade students that represented Slater at the WCMMEA 5th/6th Honor Choir event. They did a fantastic job and even impressed our 6th grade clinician! Senior Alexis Eddy got her artwork accepted into the UCM juried exhibition!!!This is a Huge achievement, there were 635 entries and 200 were accepted to be on display at UCM. The work will be on display from March 16th-22nd. Judging will also take place on the artwork that is displayed as well. I am proud of all who were courageous to give it a try and enter their Art into the competition as well! You never know if you do not try!

Slater JH Scholar Bowl team performed well in a meet at Glasgow. We lost to Glasgow by 3 questions and won our match against Cairo by 2 questions. Way to go, Scholar Bowl team!
