
SHS Sophomores visit the Saline County Career Center this morning for their annual tour! Students saw what SCCC opportunities lie ahead of them as Juniors and Seniors in areas like Auto Mechanics, Building Trades, Nursing, Culinary Arts, Marketing/Business, Teaching Methods and Computer IT.





The BOOK FAIR will be open after school until 4:00 pm in the library. Please use the back door if the other door is already locked.


The the return to MARCH MADNESS starts TOMORROW!. All PreK-5th grade students will be participating in this reading challenge. Each student will receive a reading log each week to record how many minutes they read. These need to be returned to their teacher each Monday. ALL reading counts! Audiobooks, Kindle, graphic novels, newspapers, magazines, cereal boxes. If you play the alphabet game in the car using billboards, record those minutes. The class that acquires the most minutes will receive a celebration with Ms. Pointer, the librarian. (This week's reading log is hot pink. Please return on March 11th.)



Reminder that A+ tutoring logs are due in the office today, February 29, by the end of the day.

CLARIFICATION of earlier message: SCCC Students in good standing & those SCCC students who haven't missed the bus don't check in to SHS until 10:45 am on Monday.
All other HS students have a regular report time on Monday and will not report to SHS tomorrow (3.01.24).


SCCC students WILL travel to the Career Center tomorrow, 3.1.24.

All of these kiddos have been working so very hard on their bowls of Alphabet Soup. They learned about their abc's, patterns, shading and using different mediums. They all did an absolutely amazing job! 🙌










Juniors-Shakespeare's will be in the circle drive after school tomorrow. If you sold pizzas please make arrangements to pick up them up by 3:30.
