We wrapped up our 2025 Courtwarming last night by crowing AJ Giannerini King & Remington Durham Queen, then dancing the night away! Thank you to all who made it a great week!

FTA treated staff members to chocolate covered strawberries today! 🍓 They had a great time making this special treat for those who do so much for our students. 💜 💛
SCHEDULE CHANGE: Varsity games & Senior Recognition scheduled for Tuesday, February 18 have been moved to MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17. Start time is 6:00 vs. Glasgow.
Senior Recognition will take place between VG & VB games.
Our teachers had a great morning of professional development on Monday! They took part in sessions led by our staff ranging from classroom engagement, technology, first aid/CPR, health/wellness, and more! 💜 💛 🍎
Scholar Bowl teams are representing Slater well. We traveled to Sturgeon tonight where the JH won 1 match and lost their 2nd one and the HS team lost both of theirs(one by a narrow margin). Come see them at home on Thursday in the school library @4 as they take on New Franklin.
Courtwarming 2025!!! The Wildcats are at home tonight against Cairo, JV tip-off is at 5pm Varsity will follow.
Wednesday, February 12 will be an Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) day for Slater Schools due to forecasted weather.
Students in PreK-8 grade will bring home paper packets.
The majority of HS students will retrieve assignments from Google Classroom.
Attendance credit for the day/hour is tied to completion of assigned work. Assignments are due on or before the first day we're back in the building.
Saline County Career Center students will not travel to SCCC on Wednesday.

IT'S TIME!
The music department chocolate bar fundraiser will begin very soon! We will host a student pickup on the 21st of February in the concession stand outside the high school gym. Sales will officially begin on the 24th. We are excited to announce that, along with the assorted boxes, we will also have boxes of just caramel bars as this was such a requested item last year. Thank you in advance for any support you may give to our young musicians.
