Reminder Art students going to the UCM contest tomorrow bus will be in circle drive and we need to leave by 6:30. Please come up to the Art room before that to collect all the supplies you will need for the day! Also be prepared for cool weather if going to be doing landscape. Thank you see you bright and early!

In Art Class Ms Stark's Third graders have been learning about Iris Scott a finger painter who does pictures of dogs shaking off water 💦 So they joined in on the fun and mess 😂 and are creating their own. I think I really love this project!

Ag Students Ellie Deweese and Alexandria Sanders submitted an artistic idea into the annual State FFA T-Shirt Contest and WON! Their design will be featured on the official Missouri FFA Convention shirt in April. We can't wait to see it in person!

Congratulations to the newly elected SHS National Honor Society officers! They will be installed next month at initiation.

In Art Class
Ms. Stark's and Mrs. Gochenour's Third grade students worked together in the room with the assistance of Ms. Pointer. We learned about artist Jason Naylor. The students then worked on making their own heart people out of foam clay and most painted them with vivid colors like he uses! Here are just a few final pics. They turned out super cool! 😎 Awesome job kiddos!

These photos are a variety of artworks that were displayed at Family Night on Thursday night. These are just a few examples of work from Pre-K through High School classes! Hope you enjoy looking at some of what the students have been busy working on in Art class!

In Art Class Ms. Brooks' Second graders have learned a little about Vincent van Gogh and his painting, "The Starry Night." They are making their own Starry Night pictures and they are amazing so far! I love all their artistic styles <3 Awesome job kiddos! Mrs. Crumbaugh is proud of you all!
