Art Class
Mrs. Clement's Fourth Graders finished up what we were working on for the day, so they got some Free Draw time in! I love seeing what the kids can think up and create of their own as well! This is just as important to build their creativity, problem solving and skills. Here are a few things they came up with!

Congratulations to Aubrianna Wilson who was the 8th grade winner of the DAR essay contest! She was invited to read her essay to the Arrow Rock Chapter today with her family and school personnel in attendance. Congratulations Aubrianna!

In Art Class the Kindergartners learned about Metamorphosis from the song, "Ralph and Rosie." They also learned about the Artist Maria Merian in the read aloud book, "Maria Merian the girl who drew butterflies." I think their butterflies they made turned out adorable. I got the butterfly plate idea from the artist Andrea Nelson.

In Art Class
Ms. Brooks Second Grade class learned a little about Vincent Van Gogh and made their own Starry Night watercolor pictures ⭐️ 🌙 I think they all turned out brilliantly! Great work kiddos! Mrs Crumbaugh is proud of you!

Art Class
Mrs. Meyer's First graders learned some about Henri Matisse and made their own fish bowl pictures. The students unique touches are what makes this so much fun!
