Please join us this evening at 7 pm for our 8th grade graduation ceremony in the auditorium. Doors will open at 6:15 pm for the parents and community.
Parents are welcome to attend Slater HS's End of Year Awards this Friday, May 16 in the Cafeteria. The program will start at 8:00 am and will include Track Team recognition.
Today's Cooks Choice lunch will be Bosco Sticks, Mixed Vegetables, Fruit and Milk.
There will be a Junior High Cheerleading interest meeting for 5-7 grade tomorrow at 9:00 am in the cafeteria. Tryouts will be held next week Thursday and Friday in the little gym.
8th Graders--Graduation pictures will begin at 5:45pm, tomorrow, May 15. Please report to the Elementary Office by 5:40 pm. Picture forms were sent home earlier this week and there will be extras available tomorrow evening. Students will then stay until the ceremony at 7 pm.
8th grade return has been delayed by construction. It will be around 4:20 when we arrive to the circle drive at the school

With Elementary and JH having the Picnic at the park, we will be having Hot dogs, chip, carrot stick and fruit for High School students. No Salad Bar today.
5th Grade DARE Graduation will be tomorrow morning at 8:15 am in the auditorium. Parents are welcome.
Tomorrow is our picnic in the park for PK-7th grades! Please be sure to wear tennis shoes, sunscreen and bring a water bottle. It will be so much fun!
Ms. Sample's 2nd Hour Physical Science Class brought learning to life today for 3rd - 5th graders when they performed the IMPLODING BARREL EXPERIMENT to demonstrate the power of atmospheric pressure. Great job, Wildcats! (Video on Facebook)

Remember that the last day of school is this Friday. HS students may leave at lunch - 11:42 am. Buses will run at the normal early dismissal time (12:10 pm).
Tomorrow Breakfast will be French toast stick and Lunch will be Chicken Patty.
