It's another early edition of the SHS WILDCAT ROAR! We are lining Broadway at 4:00 today for the 4:05 football send off as your Wildcats head to the District Football Championship at Concordia today! Kickoff is at 7:00.
Looking ahead to next week, we will kick off Basketball season next week with the Jamboree on Tuesday and our first home game on Friday for a girls & boys Varsity contest against Prairie Home. HS students - Spirit Bus permission slips & $5 deposit are due TODAY at NOON in the HS Office.
You will get the $5 back PLUS ANOTHER $5 from a Donor when you board the bus! ($10 for the Concession Stand!)

FTA had a great time at the statewide meeting today in Columbia. They enjoyed the college fair, heard from the 2024 Missouri Teacher of the Year, and got updates from chapters across the state. Our President, RJ Pannell, did a great job sharing Slater FTA's happenings with everyone! 💜💛🍎




The JH Student Council is holding a fundraiser for the Saline County Holiday Project on Wednesday, November 20. For a donation of $5, students in grades preschool to 8th may wear pajamas and a hat on Wednesday, November 20. Please give donation to Mrs. Tera in Elem. Office

HS Students were emailed today about a Spirit Bus traveling to this week's (11/15) District HS Football Championship game @Concordia.
The Booster Club will pay gate admission for students taking the Spirit Bus.
Permission Slips are outside of Ms. Mindy's office & are due at NOON on Thursday.

FTA's "Parent's Night Out" event scheduled for Friday, 11/15 has been postponed so we can cheer on our SHS Wildcats in the district championship game. 💜 💛 🏈 All registration money that has been paid will be returned in student folders on Monday. A makeup date will be shared soon.

Due to a scheduled power outage with the City of Slater on Elm Street, Slater Schools will begin releasing students at 2:20 today. We will dismiss walkers, car riders, and drivers as well as any parents who wish to pick their children up early. Bus riders will meet in the library & depart at their regular time. Students are fine to stay until the regular 3:04 dismissal. They will remain supervised and with their scheduled teachers. Please note: the power outage will disable our phone system. Elementary calls should go to 660-815-7751. High School calls should go to 660-631-5298.
