Wildcat Basketball kicks off tonight at home against Prairie Home. Girls game starts at 6pm boys will follow.
Tonight is the first home varsity basketball game! If you are wanting to participate in PEP BAND please meet at the band room at 4:45pm in order to look at some music before the game. You can enter into the band room door. We will start setting up in the gym at 5:20pm. If you have an instrument, great, if you don't, show up anyway and I will see if I can find you something. Juniors and select Seniors! Tomorrow is our scheduled ASVAB testing date. All testing students should have received an email this week. Please bring a charged Chromebook and be in the Library by 7:55 AM ready to go. Attendance will be taken there. Career Center students WILL report to the SCCC - you will test on an alternative date.
Good morning! Today is our school Thanksgiving dinner. This dinner is free to everyone, including staff. Since this is such a big dinner. We will not have hot bar, or cold options today.

Don't forget!!! $5 donation to the Saline County Holiday Project and students in Preschool -8th grade can wear pjs and a hat tomorrow(Wednesday the 20th). Pay Mrs. Tera in the Elementary Office.

STAC meeting this Thursday, after school, in Mr. Meyer's room. Any students in 7th-12th grade interested in theater (on stage or back stage) please come to this meeting. We will be discussing auditions for our spring performance.
Just a reminder that preschool-8th grade students can donate $5 to the Saline County Holiday Project and wear pajamas and a hat on Wednesday, November 20. Pay donations to Mrs. Tera in the Elementary Office
Our music concerts are about a month away and we cannot wait to show you what the students have prepared. With that being said we wanted to send a friendly reminder about attire for 5th-8th grade. We are asking that you please provide black bottoms to complete the uniform for our performances. This would include dress pants for any of the students, or long skirts for our ladies. We respectfully request no denim (jeans), sweat pants, shorts, or leggings (jeggings). Thank you for your support and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.

This morning, the 2024 Varsity Football Seniors presented Slater Superintendent Dr. Terry Lorenz with the District 3 Second Place plaque.

It's another early edition of the SHS WILDCAT ROAR! We are lining Broadway at 4:00 today for the 4:05 football send off as your Wildcats head to the District Football Championship at Concordia today! Kickoff is at 7:00.
Looking ahead to next week, we will kick off Basketball season next week with the Jamboree on Tuesday and our first home game on Friday for a girls & boys Varsity contest against Prairie Home.
