The JH Scholar Bowl had their first meet of the season in New Franklin today. They lost the first match by 20 points(2questions) and the second match by a bit more. They played well and are excited to take on Sturgeon tomorrow afternoon!

In Art, Ms. Brooks 2nd Grader's are working on the start of Polar Bear pictures that will involve paper weaving and space. We are learning how to measure and use rulers in class as well. They are really doing a great job so far!





In Art, Ms Kipping's 4th Graders learned about the Northern lights, silhouettes, and form. I found this project idea and loved it and they did as well! I loved their creativity on the Bear Borealis pictures!!!





Due to all of our delivery delays. Tomorrow will be a regular salad bar. The Taco bar will now be on Tuesday, January 30th.
Our K-12 Math teachers and administrators participated in professional development provided by the Central RPDC out of Warrensburg today. They are excited to share the new strategies they learned with their students!

Breakfast for today will be poptart. Lunch will be chicken patty on Bun. Sorry for any inconvenience!
Updated Bracket for 43rd Annual Wildcat Classic - Games now start on 01.23.24.

Due to road conditions, Wildcat Classic games scheduled for tonight (01.22.24) will be played tomorrow (01.23.24).
The 7th place games will be eliminated & 5th place games will take place on Saturday (01.27.24) at 9:30 am & 11:00 am.
An updated bracket will be posted on the District website & social media.

Slater Schools will not be in session today, 01.22.24, due to road conditions. This is a SNOW DAY = no at home assignments to complete.

With the forecasted weather for tonight into tomorrow morning, we will be having a 2 hour delayed start. Doors will open to students at 9:40 am with no breakfast being served. Class begins at 9:50 am. SCCC students will not go to the Career Center tomorrow.
