Make people feel loved today
It was a jam packed morning for Freshman Orientation! 8th graders from Slater and our surrounding districts were welcomed by the SHS Band and Drumline, listened to introductions from HS staff, toured campus, took part in Q&A with current 9th-12th graders during breakfast and participated in an opportunity fair. We can't wait to see them back in the Fall as Freshman Wildcats!

In Art Class the Kindergartners learned about Metamorphosis from the song, "Ralph and Rosie." They also learned about the Artist Maria Merian in the read aloud book, "Maria Merian the girl who drew butterflies." I think their butterflies they made turned out adorable. I got the butterfly plate idea from the artist Andrea Nelson.
