High School Art
The students are working on drawing Skittles or M&M's packages and some of the candy for practice at Realistic drawings. We also watched a Real vs Fake video of drawings/paint to see if they could tell the difference.

Art Class
Preschoolers
They got to paint some snowmen with homemade puffy paint (which I was told smelled yucky 😂) It was glue and shaving cream with some glitter fun added into it! We could all use a little sparkle right? They added some eyes, a nose and hats today along with some snowflakes. We hope to add our scarves and arms after break ⛄️

Art Class
Second Grade
Polar Express Perspective Trains.
Some of them are still in progress, but these kids have been working so hard on these and I think they Look AMAZING 🤩

Due to low numbers the varsity cheer team will not be traveling to tonight's game. Good luck Lady Cats!!💜💛

The cafeteria will not have salad bar or hot case options tomorrow.

In compliance with the new law regarding lead in water sources at or above 5 parts per billion (ppb), Slater Schools tested 92 water sources throughout our buildings. All 9 of the water sources that came back above the acceptable level are being remediated or capped off. Most are seldom used sinks or water spigots that need a key to open. For the full report and more information visit our website and click on the District Information tab and choose Drinking water sampling and analysis plan.

Art Class
First Grade
Self Portraits- I think these kids did an amazing job!

Art Class
Fourth Grade was having fun and laughs while trying to draw pictures with the clipboards on their foreheads today. 😂
Fifth grade did this as well but I missed taking pictures of them.
