Join us for two nights of fanatic music this week. Tuesday night, at 6 pm, we will begin with the Slater bands followed by the Slater choirs. The 5th-8th grade students will be sent home with their music polos tomorrow and will need to turn them in to Mr. Meyer after the concert's conclusion. They have been instructed to wear an under shirt so they do not have to go change. Though we understand that circumstances happen, we want to stress the importance of this performance because it is a part of the students' grade, and therefore, their attendance is expected. Wednesday night, also at 6 pm, will be the spring elementary program with the kindergarten-4th grade students. Please have the elementary students at the school at 5:40 pm so we can begin getting them set on stage.

Yesterday in preschool, we had a fun and engaging lesson focused on sorting, graphing, counting and teamwork! Each group received a handful of Lucky Charms marshmallows to work with. Students collaborated to sort the marshmallows by shape and then graphed and counted them to show their results. Of course, the sweetest part came at the end—everyone got to enjoy their tasty treats!
