The FBLA Cafe held its Grand Reopening this morning with Student Managers, Slater Chamber of Commerce members, Mayor Allegri, Principal Clements and Superintendent Gonzalez in attendance!

Westminster College "Gross Anatomy" Class visit.

Mrs. Degraffenreid's Anatomy/Physiology Class took a field trip to Westminster College and William Woods University to tour their Science Departments.

Students celebrated "Mustache Monday" today in honor of Read Across America Week! We also are celebrating reading by having visitors from our community come read to us. Thank you Mr. Kyle for reading to us today!

To celebrate Read Across America Week, the elementary/JH students are invited to participate in spirit week, February 27-March 3. The spirit days are as follows:
Monday: The Lorax day. Wear a mustache!
Tuesday: Oh, the Places You’ll Go day. Come dressed like what you want to be when you grow up!
Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday. Wear your mismatched clothes, silly socks and crazy hair!
Thursday: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Wear red, white and blue!
Friday: Cat in the Hat day. Wear your favorite hat!

There will be a baseball parent meeting on Sunday, February 26 at 5:30 pm in the library. Any interested player and parent should plan on attending.

Spring Pictures will be taken on Friday, March 3. Reminder that this year is pre-paid orders only. Order forms have been sent home with students. Any questions, feel free to contact the school.
