The World's of Fun trip for band students has been rescheduled for Sat. May 19. We will be leaving the school at 8:30 and returning at 8:00 PM. The price for rides and lunch is $38.50.
Great day yesterday for our Slater band/vocal students, Abby and Amanda.....send off with student tunnel and fire truck, lunch at Red Lobster and beautiful weather. The girls performed so well Mr. Meyer and I are very proud!

The high school/ junior high school band and chorus concert will be in the Alexander Auditorium Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. Band students be on the stage at 6:15.

Slater Students enjoyed listening to writer Julija Šukys on Monday April 23rd at MVC. Her books focus on minor lives in war-torn or marginal places, women’s life-writing, and the legacy of violence across generations and national borders. Šukys is a professor of Creative Nonfiction at the University of Missouri. Her reading was part of The Visiting Writers Series at Missouri Valley College.



Slater Jr High Track represented tonight at the Northwestern Relays. The boys team got 2nd overall out of 17 teams. Along with several individual places.
