Area scholars were honored at the 28th annual KMZU Academic Dream Team Awards Banquet in Carrolton. Cassandra Eddy represented Slater High School. She was also awarded a $200 scholarship. Congratulations, Cassie!

Band parent meeting is about performing at an out-of -state location next year for next year's grades 8-12 and marching band plans. We need input from band parents.

Attention Seniors: All seniors will be taking the Work Keys Test tomorrow morning, Thursday, May 2nd, in Ms. White's class beginning first hour. Please arrive on time with a charged chrome book and calculator. No phones or electronics are allowed while testing. Bring user name and password.

Johnny Brownell received a Gold on his piccolo solo at State Contest last Friday at contest. Abby Uhlich and Johnny Brownell received a Silver on clarinet and flute solos and the trumpet trio, Layla Beyer, JJ Herriford and Toby Heuman, received a Bronze. TERRIFIC ACCOMPLISHMENT BAND STUDENTS!!
