
Slater Junior High Band students competed in solo and ensemble events at CMU in Fayette today. They were very successful. Percussion ensemble and brass duet received firsts, 10 soloists received firsts and one soloist received a second. Great day for Slater bands!

Preschool & Kindergarten Roundup March 18-29, 2019 Call the Alexander Elementary at 529-2278 or stop by between 8 a.m.-3 p.m. to enroll your child in preschool or kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year.

Clarification: The Spring pictures taking place tomorrow are NOT for High School students. It is an Elementary event. Information was sent home with students earlier in the week.

Pep Bus students, meet in the gym (use Morgan Street doors) by 4:15. The bus will leave as soon as the pm route is complete -it could be as early as 4:15 or as late as 4:30. Be ready to go by 4:15!

Even more great news about the Pep Bus: Mr. Brad Peel has offered to pay the gate admission for the first 15 HS students to turn their permission slips in!!! And...An individual from the Class of 2001 has offered to help pay for food costs of students riding the Pep Bus! This means that riders would be responsible for their $7 gate admission and permission slips!!! Get those slips turned in by 8:15am Tuesday & sign your name on the list today so we know what to plan on!
