Rain crushed our outdoor activity plans, but the top FBLA Members in points still got to celebrate a great year for the chapter tonight in Columbia!



Important Band parents meeting at 5PM on Aug. 6 in band room for parents of 8th grade and high school band students. We will talk about marching band foo this school year, purchase of a drum major podium for the football field and possible Chicago trip,

There are still a few spots in preschool available for this school year! Any child that is 3 or 4 years of age before August 1st is eligible. Please call the elementary office for more information.


The HS Supply list has been posted to slaterschools.net (Menu, 19/20 School Supply Lists). Hard copies will be at Registration on Aug. 1 (8a-6p) as well. See you soon!

Any 7th or 8th grade student interested in playing basketball should attend the S-Club Fundraiser August 1st from 4:00pm to 6:30pm. Please bring a package of hamburger buns and/or a package of variety chips - single serving.

All school registration will be held August 1 from 8am to 6pm in the library. New and current students will need to plan on attending with all updated information.

Any student in grades 9-12 interested in cheer must attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, July 17 at 6 pm in the library. A mini day camp and tryouts will be held on Monday, July 22.


The Annual Slater FFA Pool Party/July Meeting is set for this coming Tuesday, July 16th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Slater Pool. New members are also invited to attend!


Any student in grades 9-12 that are interested in trying out for HS cheer must attend an informational meeting that will be held on Tuesday, July 17 at 6:00 pm in the library. Parents are also welcome to attend.


High School Students - There will be ACT Math practice this Friday, June 12th, from 10:00 to 12:00 in the library. Stop by if you want some extra preparation before the test!

FYI: This will be the last week for summer Libratory hours. Come see me on Tuesday and Thursday from 8-11.
