THANK YOU to everyone who made the annual Halloween Against Hunger Night possible! SHS Student Council and NHS had a great time trick or treating for canned goods tonight to benefit the Slater Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry.

Due to illness and injury tomorrow District football game with Harrisburg has been cancelled. Thank you players, coaches, and cheerleaders for an enjoyable season.

HS Students may wear their Halloween costume to school tomorrow if they choose. See the WILDCAT ROAR for costume guidelines. We will not have a costume contest/parade.
Students may also choose to wear a hat as part of Thursday's Red Ribbon Week theme.

PK-8th grade students are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to school tomorrow if they choose.

Mrs. Sayler's Preschool class will be having their class Halloween Party tomorrow (October 29th). Students may wear their costumes if they choose to.

In an effort to remain proactive we have decided to take action on the increasing illnesses that are being reported. Starting Friday, October 30th we will close the school for a deep and thorough cleaning. All staff will report back on Monday, November 2nd and the students will not report back until November 9th. Thursday, October 29 will be our last Face to Face Instructional Day until students return on Monday, November 9. To be clear, the decision to go virtual is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of our staff and students. In regards to sports, if the team is not quarantined we are still allowing for practices and games. Coaches will be in contact with their teams with information regarding times. I have attached the virtual schedules and online expectations for your reference. If you requested chromebooks at registration, they will be sent home with your students at the end of day tomorrow. Your building principal will be in touch with packet pickup times for those that are needing them. There will NOT be meals available during this week so please make accommodation for home meals.
