
6th and 7th graders enjoyed their day Friday. We started out with a virtual field trip to the Smithsonian, headed to the park for grilled hotdogs followed by a whiffle ball tournament, and ended the day with ice cream at Slater Burger and Creamery.

The Slater School District is accepting application for PreK-8 counselor. The Counselor must be able to communicate effectively with students and parents and work as a team with other staff in the district. Opportunities to have coaching/sponsor duties are available. Slater School District proudly supports the "You Okay Today" Initiative. The Mental Health Association of Saline County purchased our shirts for staff. We are better together!!


May is Mental Health Awareness Month. We at Slater School District have joined the Saline County "You Okay Today?" Initiative. We will proudly wear our t-shirts the second Tuesday of each month in reminder that there is always someone around to talk to. This past year has been hard on many and we want you to know that you are not alone. We are all stronger together!! It's okay to not be okay.
