American History 2 students travelled to Kansas City on December 15th, to tour the World War 1 Museum.

High School Students Friday is wear your favorite PJ's (school appropriate) to school.


December 15th marked the 2 week threshold period for wearing masks, as of today the quarantine numbers are at 0%. Masks will be lifted and become optional on December 16 for all students.

There will not be a salad bar or a hot bar option on Friday December 17th.

National Honor Society visited Big Bend Retreat today - handing out homemade Christmas cards and singing Carols throughout the wings!

The High School Choir and Band concert scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 15 has been postponed until a later date. Sorry for any inconvenience.


We will be changing the menu for tomorrow's lunch. Instead of Taco soup with Chips we will be having Chicken strips/ Popcorn Chicken with a cheese stick.

Winter Senior Recognition tonight. Game starts @ 6pm. Recognition will take place between games. Come out and support the seniors.

Tonight's basketball games at Northwest of Hughesville will be 2 quarters of JV Boys, followed by V Girls and V Boys - 5:00 p.m. start time.


The Slater School Board has taken the court’s decision and the Attorney General’s letter regarding the Order from Cole County under advisement and will announce any changes to our current protocols at a later date.


There will be a Prom committee meeting tomorrow morning at 7:45 am in Ms. Bowling's classroom.


The Freshman Class is selling t-shirts for the annual Wildcat Classic Basketball Tournament. Shirts are available for pre-order only and come in youth and adult sizes. $16 each. See a freshman class member, Mrs. Meyer, or Mrs. Boggs to order. Shirts will be delivered mid-January. Go Wildcats!!


Please join us for our K-6 choir/band concert at 6:00 pm in the auditorium. Students will need to report to the stage at 5:45 pm. We can't wait to share what we have been working on with you!


Slater Ag students had the opportunity to tour the College of Ag, Food, and Natural Resources at Mizzou yesterday and got the chance to see some of the programs they offer including education, nutrition and engineering!
