Junior High students enjoyed celebrating Pi Day(3/14) in class yesterday. They worked in groups to convert a recipe from 1 serving to 8 servings and made the crust and filling of the pie. While it chilled, we read a book about Sir Cumference and the Knights of the Round Table before enjoying the pie.

Slater JH Scholar Bowl team competed in the Conference Scholar Bowl Match on Monday, 3/13. Although they did not place as a team in the competition, they represented our school very well. Congratulations to Cade Breshears for being named the 2nd highest scoring individual.

A classic tale of "Who done it?" Sisters at odds, a nervous author, a couple on a weekend getaway, and more fill this tale trying to figure out who killed Hank Mason, the former owner of the Hickory Dickory Inn found dead in his study. Join us this Saturday, March 18th, at 6pm for a viewing of "The Clock Struck One" in the Slater Alexander Elementary Auditorium. Admission will be $5 to support the students involved in the STAC program in the Slater School District. Come out and support our Wildcats on stage! My contact info can be found on the Slater School District website.
