Slater High School Art Students got selected and attended the he Annual CAC Art Competition this year in Moberly. The students did an amazing job and I am proud of them all for their creativity and achievements! They chose from the following areas to draw from. Landscape, Architecture, Illustration Prompt, Live Model or Still Life.
Congratulations to all participants!!!





Reminder: Students participating in the music fundraiser need to turn in ALL money to Tera in the elementary office by this Friday.

Some of the High School Art Students worked on and set up a backdrop for Homecoming! They had fun doing the splatter and it turned out fun! Great job!

Thanks to a generous donation from Sandy Hisle and Tower Realty, new books are arriving for the library!

The HS Homecoming dance will begin at 10:30 and conclude at 12:30. Students, enter through the Circle Drive Library entrance.

Juniors-Homecoming shirts are in!! Please pick your orders up at the concession stand window after school today.
Junior Class students who still need points...bring a bag of candy to be thrown at the parade. For each bag brought in to Mrs. Meyer, before Friday, receive a half point per bag. Make sure Mrs. Meyer signs you off for your bags brought in.

JUNIOR Class, this is a VERY busy week!!! Here is a reminder that the only night we have left to finish the Homecoming float is this Thursday, after the home softball game. Be there around 6:30, & work until it is finished. Plan on being there to help your class!
CALLING LOCAL BUSINESSES...! The Slater School Wellness Committee is looking for raffle prizes for their District Wide Wellness Walk on 10/20. Our students take part in a variety of wellness based activities to be eligible for a prize - let's make it the best selection yet! Each donating business/individual will be listed on the sponsorship banner throughout the day. Thank you for your support!

We have officially kicked off the Slater Music Department fundraiser! Look for the blue and white briefcase boxes to get your chocolate from our students. Thank you for the generous support we have already received, it makes us proud to be Wildcats!
