Class of 2026, the Homecoming shirts have come in. They will be ready for you to pick up after school today in Mrs. Bayne's room.

Third graders truly enjoyed sharing this silly picture book during story time in the library. They wanted to become the main character by making silly faces above the headless illustration.

Join Slater in Celebrating Homecoming Week! Dress-up days Monday-Friday, Wednesday is the annual Powder Puff game followed by the Bon Fire and we will wrap up the week Friday with the Homecoming parade, Coronation and the HOCO game against Harden-Central kicking off at 7pm.

The Pumpkin Contest is underway! This can be a family project, so kids & grown-ups can work together if they want. Also, the pumpkins & gourds do not need to be real. You can use fake ones instead if you prefer. I can't wait to display your creations outside the library again.
