FTA hosted “Parent’s Night Out” on Friday, 12/16 for K-5 students. It was a fun evening with pizza, bingo, coloring, and games! We look forward to hosting another event later in the school year.
High Schoolers are starting their pre-Winter Break activities off with the first session of Life Academy!
Students traveled to Exchange Bank of Slater for a look at the inner workings of the banking world, took part in Q&A with Principal Clements, heard from Army Recruiter Sgt. Binney and listened to the entrepreneurial journey of LYBL from SHS Alumni Felicia Hayes and Crystal Wiseman. A big thanks to our hosts, speakers and guests!
The spring STAC cast list has been posted! Students who received a part in our spring show need to stop by Mr. Meyer's room before the end of the day to pick up their script.
Sophomores are selling Courtwarming shirts! They are $15 and available in youth and adult sizes. Contact any sophomore, Mrs. Meyer, or Mrs. Boggs to order.

FTA hosts “Parent’s Night Out” tonight!! The Library/Central Office foyer doors will open at 5:30 for drop off and again at 8:00 for pick-up. Students must have been pre-registered and in attendance at school today to attend. All kiddos need to be signed in and out by an adult listed on their registration form. The kiddos should dress comfortable.
Seniors- Hog raffle tickets and money are due in the HS office today.
There will be no hot bar or salad bar today.
Tonight’s home girls basketball game will now be 2 quarters only of JV followed by Varsity girls starting at 6:00PM!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Lyceum Theatre had to cancel today’s performance for the 8th grade. It will unfortunately not be rescheduled.
Change in schedule for tonight’s games in New Franklin! JV boys will now play a full game starting at 5:00PM, with varsity girls and varsity boys to follow! There will be NO JV Girls game tonight.
