There will be a HS Cheer Interest meeting tomorrow, May 1, at 3:05 in the Library for any 8-11 grader interested to meet with and hear from new HS Coach Cabaniss. A message from the Slater AfterProm parents: This Thursday, come out and support our senior athletes as they compete in their final home game, with the girls' game starting at 6, followed by the boys' game. An auction will take place for two all-season passes for the 2026-2027 sports season, with proceeds going towards after-prom events. We hope to see you there. Let's go Wildcats!! Please share and help spread the word let’s fill the stands for our athletes!!!!!

Fall Sports are right around the corner! (August 2-10 is MSHSAA's designated 'No Contact Week'.)
HS Fall Sports practices start on August 11, and JH Fall practices start on August 18.
All athletes & marching band students must have the following prior to those dates:
- Valid MSHSAA physical
- Completed TeacherEase registration, including MSHSAA Pre-participation form

Fitzgibbon Hospital will be at the Slater Schools Library from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Monday, July 28 to provide FREE sports physicals to JH & HS athletes.
Physicals are good for two years. All athletes & marching band participants must have a physical on file.
