With a tremendous amount of respect for Paul Crews and the impact he has had on our school and this community, Slater Schools will not be in session Friday, April 14, 2023. This will provide all those wishing to attend services the opportunity to pay their respects.
With adequate days available on our calendar due to the limited amount used for snow days this will not impact the scheduled last day of school.

JH students celebrated Pi Day(3/14) yesterday. They converted a recipe from 1 serving to 8 servings and then made the crust and the filling of the pie. While waiting for it to chill, we read a book about Sir Cumference and the Knights of the Round Table before enjoying the delicious pie.

Slater JH Scholar Bowl team competed in the Conference Scholar Bowl Match on Monday, 3/13. Although they did not place as a team in the competition, they represented our school very well. Congratulations to Cade Breshears for being named the 2nd highest scoring individual.
